Drawing upon the theme of teamwork and the necessity for each of us to work together to reach a goal, be that a worldly one or Spiritual goal, another fun-filled New Creation night began.

A reading of Genesis 2:18, ¹⁸ The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him," by Tim kicked-off the night for us by focusing us upon God’s Word and His direction for each of us to work together.

After playing a couple of games of EA Soccer on the Xbox, we all learnt the correct pronunciation to the word slide is, “Schlide”. Silly us for thinking it was anything else! We also discovered that Joanne is a terrific golfer, obtaining a hole-in-one the very first shot she took. (look out Ian!). Chris and Andy proved to be formidable adversaries in Halo, working VERY well together.

Whether it was Andy’s grace to our Loving Father, or Tim & Lyn’s fabulous cooking, in matters concerning the stomach, it was a feast unto the taste-buds, with just the yummiest hamburgers we’ve had since the last time we had hamburgers at Tim & Lyn’s. :)

Overall, we learnt that some of us just aren’t cut out for sport, even when it’s in front of the TV! But with the help of one and another, we can all obtain the ultimate schliding tackle!

Thank you to Tim & Lyn for showing us that as a body, working together, we can achieve all things.

And thanks be to God for the abundant gifts He gives to each us.
