Friday May 7th - Pizza Night at the Naylor's

New Creation gathered at the Naylor's for a change in scenery. It was good to see Nathan and Tracy and catch up with everyone else including all three of the Browns'. Food consisted of homemade pizzas and chocolate cake for dessert, with Tracy bringing along a Chocolate Fudge Cake which was delish.

After devouring food for several hours we took a break to do an activity which we were assigned a person who was in the room and write a few lines about what makes them so special, their good qualities and why we appreciate them. After everyone had done this they were folded and placed in a box and Ian "The Barrel Girl" handed the box around and everyone drew out a piece of paper which didn't have their name on it and read it out to the group and then handed it to the person it was about.

It was a serious side to a fun night to make us think about the positive things in life and try to build each other up and we finished with the parable of the "Good Samaritan" Aussie style to remind us that Jesus said we should love our enemies as we do our friends.
