Being the energetic people that we are, the only time we broke a sweat tonight was during the torch relay...

Go Australia!!!

After the vanilla candle was passed around, it came to rest in the corner of the room and presided over the evening. To go with the occasion and the atmosphere, we enjoyed Greek food which was "fully sick mate", but which did not make us fully sick ;)

We had Yeeros for dinner (Greek wraps with lettuce, tomato, onion, garlic yoghurt and cheese). The challenge was to wrap them without them exploding everywhere. And the Gold medal for that event went to Chris with Jayson getting the silver (I'm sure I saw a speck of cheese briefly hit his plate otherwise it would have been a tie).

Tim led the events tonight beginning with discussions on all of our past sporting histories. It progressed to talks on our most memorable events and to our achievements in injuring ourselves and others during sports. Then it naturally degenerated into funny and interesting stories of injuries caused outside of sport as well.

It was a fun night had by all and an excellent way to unwind after a long week.
