Tonight was a merry night full of frivolity and drivel. The head count came to eight including Robbie and Stewart, Andy and Chris, Miskelly and Amanda and Tim and myself. I had such a great time that I forgot to take photos...oops.

Before we started the trivial pursuit game we ate - I like it when our priorities are right ;)

Because Tim has been at home on holidays for 2 weeks, we were able to enjoy roast pork for dinner with roast potatoes and sour cream topped with sweet chilli or plum sauce. A crisp salad was also on offer, along with freshly baked home-made bread. (Tim is a champion). For after dinner mints, I delved into my hidden stash of peppermint kit kats...num num num.

Teaming up into four groups of two, we began the game. In the pursuit of the trivial wedges authentic questions were randomly replaced with bible trivia to liven things up. Red boxes were earned by Amanda, Lyn and Chris for some of the better 'not quite right' answers and thankfully in Jason's absence we had many contenders for outrageous pun of the night (NOT to be repeated here !).

Wedges were scarce and guesses flew think and fast throughout the night, stumps was declared before a clear winner emerged.

During the final discussion about questions and if we should get easier ones Robbie and Stewart disappeared without a trace ! Actually they started to clean up, headed to the kitchen then said goodbye and were gone before we properly responded so intense was the discussion. Sorry guys !Amanda and Lyn went looking to say goodnight properly but were not quick enough to catch you.

And remember the original name for Vanuatu is Vanuaone !
