Tonight Tim got inspired and cooked up two roast chooks to share. With the succulent chicken, we had chips, corn on the cob and garden salad. Apparently it was a success because there was very little left. And yet everyone still had room for dessert. We enjoyed ice-cream and raspberries.

We were going to have rallies with micro radio-controlled cars tonight, but upon checking their condition we discovered that they were cactus. One was completely dead, and the other ran at a snail's pace. Nonetheless it amused Cortana, our cat, (and everyone else for that matter) for a short time while we teased her with a moving object the size of a mouse. 

After the car died completely (helped by the cat) we played a few intense games of Uno where Jayson picked on Lyn by using his skip cards and draw four cards on her, and Chris pulled a swifty, tricked us all and won that round. (You have to watch Chris; he is cleverer than you think).

It was then time to practice the play for the Prayer and Fasting day at Miranda Uniting tomorrow. After a couple of distractions and some very funny moments, we were satisfied that we were ready for the New Creation segments. 

It was a fun and relaxing evening with the real star being the awesome food that Tim cooked up. Yay Tim !!!!
